He is currently pursuing his Registered Play Therapist credential and certification in Animal-Assisted Play Therapy.

Dakota works with clients across the lifespan, with a specialized focus on individuals ages 18 months to 40 years old. His therapeutic approach is developmentally informed, trauma-responsive, and neurodivergent-affirming. He incorporates evidence-based modalities such as:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Dakota also partners with Ryder, his full-time animal assistant. Ryder is included in sessions based on client preference and adds an extra layer of connection, regulation, and support.

Dakota is committed to helping clients build resilience, process their experiences, and move toward lasting wellness.
